Peter Baty

Peter is an environmental engineer with over 25 years of consulting experience supporting clients globally in environment, health and safety, and sustainability. Peter specializes in corporate mergers and acquisitions transaction support and risk management, integrating traditional EHS due diligence support with environmental, social, governance (ESG) advisory services to assist clients in protecting/enhancing investments and facilitating access to capital.

He has worked extensively with the private equity, banking, and financial sectors which has given him perspective across a broad range of industry segments. Peter has the expertise to effectively identify and quantify ESG operational risks and asset liabilities. He also has developed critical screening tools to assess organizational readiness to respond to current and emerging sustainability issues that could impact the long-term value of investments.

Peter holds a BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering from the University of Vermont, and an MS in Environmental Management from the University of San Francisco. Currently based in Boston, Peter has lived/worked in several states and internationally and has completed projects in over 40 different countries.
